Leading Through Learning
Driving from Crater Lake to the Grand Tetons was remote, isolated, undeveloped and unexpected.
We hit a deer. Again.
We did the same thing on our first trip. Greg saw it coming up the driver side of the car and despite his best attempt to slow down, the deer ran right in front of the car.
No one was hurt (other than the deer, of course). Although the car still drives the check engine light came on which prompted us to stop in Boise for the night so we can visit an Enterprise in the morning.
So. The Tetons will have to wait.
While we waited, the kids and I walked to try a Dutch Brothers Coffee. These little blue drive through coffee shops are everywhere out here. We were not disappointed! Yummy.
After some discussions with Enterprise, a stop at Point S auto service, the suburban or a.k.a the Silver Eagle is back and good to keep truckin’ east.
Grand Tetons here we come.
