Leading Through Learning
Jagged and rugged. Peaks and valleys. Granite and clear blue glacier water. Half Dome and El Capitan. Lower Falls and Upper Falls. Glacier Point and Merced River. Lower Pines Campground and Bridleveil Falls.
I don’t have the words to fully describe Yosemite National Park. I think about John Muir and the many quotes he wrote while spending his life in this park and I see why.
The mountains are calling and I must go.
The clearest way into the universe is through a forest wilderness.
And Hannah’s favorite: Into the forest I go, to lose my mind and find my soul.
And because of COVID, everyone has to have a day pass to enter. We saw a few folks being turned away at the gates. Every precaution is being taken and we saw most people with masks on- even while hiking or outdoors.
Because of these requirements, we got to experience this national wonder unobstructed and with only a few other people. Below are my attempt to capture our day.
